Great news! President Obama has signed the bill making the IRA Charitable Rollover a permanent feature of the tax code, effective immediately. The IRA Rollover had expired on December 31, 2014, but is now retroactively reinstated for all of 2015 as well as for future years. The provision allows individuals 70 ½ and older to donate up to $100,000 tax-free from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) directly to charities.
