Marty Warhola - Artist/Printmaker
Marty Warhola, nephew of famed artist
Andy Warhol (1928-1987), is an artist in his
own right. Utilizing the printing method that
was a hallmark of both his uncle’s and his
father Paul’s work, Warhola has created
images that mirror the Pop icon subjects and
famous historical figures that can be found in
many of Warhol’s screenprint portraits.
Warhola’s talk will include a discussion of
his life and work, and he will also share
stories of his father and his famous uncle. The
program will include a question and answer
period.
Marty Warhola’s work will be featured in
an upcoming Butler exhibition. His portraits
of Presidents Washington and Lincoln are
currently on view at the Butler.
