About The Art

The post-World War II collection encompasses virtually every movement from Abstract Expressionism to Pop Art, Minimalism to Op(tical) Art. Major works in several galleries offer a wide-ranging look at the movements that elevated America to a leadership role in world culture. Included are pieces by major contemporary figures such as Alfred Leslie, Philip Pearlstein, and Louise Nevelson.
