
About The Art
This annual juried show exhibits the artworks of adult artists from throughout the fifty United States and its territories. The exhibition includes accepted works in all two dimensional media, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, drawings, prints, photographs and digital. For the 2019 exhibition, there were 652 works of art submitted by 260 artists and 78 works of art by 64 artists. The artists spanned 14 states across the United States.
The juror for this year’s exhibition selection is contemporary New York artist Paul Ching-Bor.
Juror of Awards is H. Anderson Turner, Director, School of Art Collection & Galleries, Kent State University.

89th National Midyear Exhibition at the Butler

The 89th National Midyear Exhibition presents works by contemporary artists 18 years and older who reside within the United States or its territories. Two-dimensional works in all media, including digital work and photography, are in the exhibition. This year’s juror is Dr. Louis Zona, Director Emeritus of The Butler Institute of American Art.
