Regional Photography: Ruwaidah Barhoum

March 10, 2024 - June 2, 2024
Landscape photo of a field. In the distance you can see multiple red buildings with white roofs, that appear to be barns or units for livestock. The field closest to the farm is a bright green, reflecting the shine of the midday sun. As we get closer to the point the photo was taken there are two trees standing side by side. Marking an invisible, almost wall line where we begin to see the grassy field riddled with powdered snow yet to be melted.

About The Art

Ruwaidah Barhoum: Simple Life

My artwork reveals the connection between culture and lifestyle that exposes human and animal experiences reflecting a touch of hidden beauty in nature.

My goal is to capture environmental, cultural moments that present traditional ways of living. These moments are related to historical background perspectives that define and preserve the realistic idea of the hidden beauty.
