Appreciating Your Art

Do I have an original artwork?

Authenticating a work of art can be a big task. The Butler staff may be able to tell you if it is an original rather than a reproduction. If there is a signature on the painting, an art appraiser might be able to authenticate it.

Can the Butler Institute repair my artwork?

No, but we can suggest businesses that have the capacity to handle that. Regionally, The Bonfoey Company in Cleveland (216-621-0178) will be able to assist you.
