Ivan Albright

If you visit the Butler, be sure to go into the Butler's north side permanent collection galleries and find a self portrait by the famous Chicago artist, Ivan Albright (1897-1983). Albright was known for his portraits exhibiting decay. In fact any fan of old movies knows the film, ``A Portrait of Dorian Grey``. In the movie a character ages before our eyes.
