The Butler’s Area Artists Annual is a juried exhibition, held yearly that includes selected original artworks in all media created and submitted by artists residing in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties in Ohio, and Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania. Works include paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, and crafts.
Juror for the 83rd Area Artist Annual exhibition 2022 is Diane Schaffstein.
ABOUT DIANE SCHAFFSTEIN
Diane Schaffstein is co-gallery director and head appraiser with The Bonfoey Gallery. Located in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square, The Bonfoey is the Midwest’s oldest gallery providing artwork and framing since 1893. Ms. Schaffstein has been with The Bonfoey since 1987 and has filled many positions there during her thirty-five-year tenure. For the past 20 years, she has responsible for the selection and implementation of four to six gallery shows a year, the selection of artists’ works for gallery representation, and the installation of works throughout the gallery. As head appraiser for The Bonfoey, she has worked with many private and corporate clients providing appraisals for insurance, estate, and donation purposes.
