Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. Whatever the design is – what all the venues share all over the globe is the focus on slow looking and its transformative power.

Slow Art Day at The Butler

1. Show up at The Butler on Saturday, April 10, 2021 (face masks, body temperature scan and social distancing required).
2. Check in with a Butler Docent (trained volunteer).
3. Take some quality time to look slowly – 5-10 minutes – at each piece of pre-assigned art.
4. Discuss your experience with those in attendence with you, or with an available Butler Docent (trained volunteer).
