Schedule a Tour
With a guided tour of the museum led by a knowledgeable Butler docent, learn about the stories behind the art. See the gallery in a new light with either a club, organization, school class, family, or other group.
Our docents are passionate and enthusiastic about both art and teaching. On Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm – 2pm, visitors can go on a free docent-guided tour without prior reservations.
Group tours can be scheduled Tuesday through Sunday, free of charge, by calling Patti Edwards (330-743-1107 ext. 1102) or sending an email to pattiedwards@butlerart.com with the following information:
Please include your name, date of possible tour, type of tour or anything specific you’re interested in, name of school/facility, number of students/adults, and the grade level (if applicable).

89th National Midyear Exhibition at the Butler

The 89th National Midyear Exhibition presents two-dimensional and relief works by contemporary artists 18 years and older who reside within the United States or its territories. This year’s juror is Dr. Louis Zona, Director Emeritus of The Butler Institute of American Art.
